ORIGINAL Junk Drawer Candles
A friend of mine, Angie Regier, posted this photo on facebook, with a caption asking if it was a universal experience for birthday celebrations to rummage the junk drawer right before cake is cut to scrounge up a mix-and-match collection of candles from birthday’s past.
In an family of eight, my answer was a resounding yes! We would pick through our selection of half burnt, broken, mix and match candles for our many celebrations sometimes mixing the number shaped ones with single candles once we got to double digits.
This piece is 16×20 Acrylic on Gallery canvas, comes wired for hanging.
